Walk the bustling stalls with host Elizabeth, interact with local vendors, discover exotic ingredients like kapenta fish & chibwabwa leaves, and hand-pick everything you will cook. Then jump in a car for a 20-minute drive into a real Lusaka township. At Elizabeth's home, surrounded by a garden and mango trees, cook your chosen dish over your own charcoal brazier. Choose from 4 traditional Zambian recipes: Chicken Stew, Crispy Kapenta, Beef or Goat with Chibwabwa, or Grilled Bream — all served with nshima. Elizabeth guides you through techniques, recipes and the cultural stories behind each dish. End sitting together on traditional mats under the mango trees, sharing the food you cooked as a group.
