What to expect
Get out of Edinburgh for the day and see a proper slice of Scotland without spending the whole time sitting in the vehicle. This is a private tour, so there’s no coach, no big group and no rigid timetable. We’ll head west from Edinburgh towards Loch Lomond first, with time to enjoy the scenery, get out for a walk and explore the area properly. From Loch Lomond we’ll make our way back through the countryside, stopping for lunch at Mhor 84 in Balquhidder. From there, the route can include Killin and the Falls of Dochart, Loch Lubnaig, some hairy coos, Doune Castle and Deanston Distillery. The exact day can be shaped around you. Want more scenery and short walks? Easy. Interested in whisky or castles? We can work those in too. You’ll travel in a comfortable Mercedes with a local driver guide who knows the route, the good stops and plenty of places most visitors simply drive straight past.
