What to expect
Explore two UNESCO World Heritage Sites during this day trip from Brasov: the medieval old town of Sighisoara and the fortified church of Viscri! The trip starts early in the morning and finishes in the afternoon with a drive back to Brasov. Our first stop is at the Rupea Citadel . The fortress, built by german saxons is a trademark Transylvanian fortress design to stop the Otoman advance towards Eastern Europe. Next, we drive to Sighisoara to uncover the last medieval city of Romania. We will walk along the narrow old streets as we will explore some of the most popular landmarks of the town. Last but not least we will visit Viscri village and take a look at the fortified church. Lunch is possible in Sighisoara or Viscri. Additional experiences can include a ride with a horse and carriage as well as a visit to the Blacksmith. Details can be discussed via messaging or WhatsApp after booking.
