What to expect
Ecotourism is a way of responsible travel in which the main purpose is observing and appreciating nature and the local traditions. You'll get the chance to appreciate incredible views over Bucegi Natural Park as you'll spend a full day right in the heart of Transylvania. Visit one of the most authentic mountain villages in Romania with amazing views over Piatra Craiului National Park, experience the Eco Trail Romania and get to observe the locals and their way of living. This is an easy/medium 8 to 12 km trail, 400-500 m elevation height, total 5 to 6 hours hike on wide paths with no exposure or dangerous cliffs. This trip is suitable to families or any other groups of people that can walk on various terrains for half a day. You need to bring hiking boots and clothes that suits the outside weather, back pack, rain coat and a small snack. We also recommend to bring a hat, sun cream, ticks spray and hiking sticks.
