In Romania, more than 5.000 brown bears are living, and we will go to see them in the natural environment. On the way to the forest, you will learn more details about these fascinating animals, what are their habits and how they can become so big. After the arrival, you will go together with the ranger to the observatory where quietly we will wait to start to see the bears. There's around a 90% chance of seeing the enormous animals, and you may be lucky enough to observe everything from large males to mothers playing with their cubs. Besides the bears, we can have the chance to see other wildlife such as boar, roe and red deer, and the game birds are known to live here. Please note: Please wear comfortable shoes, we will need to go from the car to the observatory by walking.

The next stop in our tour is Harman Fortified Church, built in the 13th century by Saxons colonists in order to protect the church from different invaders. The church was surrounded by walls and bulwarks and had on its sides massive towers. The belfry tower, located on the church’s western side was built in the 14th century.
