What to expect

There is always a chance to meet one of the gorilla families while climbing without paying the gorilla permit. On your way up, you’ll be trekking through a number of different vegetation zones after passing through bamboo forest, the preferred food of golden monkeys and mountain gorillas.

What is included

  • We always enjoy our coffee while checking in for legal formalities and getting briefing from park rangers
  • The packed lunch is given per head to be eaten either on your way climbing or by the time you reach the summit of the volcano
  • The snacks, water & juice are given from the starting point for you to enjoy them while climbing the volcano
