What to expect

If you want to visit two of the most iconic ruins in Quintana Roo, swim in a cenote, and taste a typical Mexican buffet lunch, this is your tour! Head to Cobá early in the morning to visit this awesome place before the crowds arrive. This ancient Mayan city was placed near 5 lakes that were crucial for its development between 300 and 100 b.C. Learn about its history and the people who inhabited this magical place. Visit Chichén Itzá, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. There, your guide will give you all the information needed to get you immersed in the Mayan Culture and the mysteries of this archeological site. Then you’ll have free time to explore it on your own. After admiring the views, enjoy a typical Mexican buffet lunch (included in the price if you select this option). The next stop will be at the Cenote Chichi Kan, where you’ll be able to swim and relax right next to its impressive waterfall. To end the trip, you'll enjoy a quick panoramic visit to Valladolid

For safety reasons, it is mandatory that you wear a life vest during the visit to the cenote (the cost is not included on the inclusions list)
Admission fees to the archaeological sites (60.5 USD) are not included on the price and must be paid upon arrival the day of the tour by credit card (no cash is accepted).
Mexicans have a discount on the admission fees upon presentation of their ID on the day of the tour. The discount will not be applicable without the official identification.
For safety reasons, all infants are required to travel in an approved child restraint system while on the bus. Amigo Tours does not provide child safety seats, so customers must bring their own. As the child restraint system occupies a seat, a fee will be charged to reserve and guarantee a seat on the bus.
