What to expect
This private half-day tour is designed for travelers who want to enjoy Kurashiki at their own pace. Instead of following a fixed itinerary, guests can choose two main spots to visit from museums, historic houses, a canal boat ride, or shopping in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. If you have two preferred spots you would like to visit, please let us know in advance. Your licensed guide will plan the best possible route based on your interests, opening days, weather, and ticket availability. Traveling by local train from Okayama also gives you a simple and authentic local experience, while your guide takes care of directions, timing, and cultural explanations. It is a flexible and comfortable way to discover Kurashiki’s art, history, traditional townscape, and local charm without stress.
