What to expect
The field for the experience is a terraced rice field. The bay overlooking Kujuku Islands spreads out before your eyes, creating a special space where you can feel all the mountains, sea and satoyama of Japan. Local rice farmers will guide you on a walk through terraced rice fields, where the original landscape of the Japanese countryside has been preserved. In addition to the methods and history of Japanese rice cultivation, the tour also includes the history and lifestyle customs of the area.
