What to expect
Walk through the Nagasaki featured in The New York Times' "52 Places to Go in 2026" with a local English-speaking guide. Visit the city's most iconic sites while discovering its history, culture, and local life. At the Atomic Bomb Museum and Peace Park, learn about the devastating consequences of nuclear weapons and why Nagasaki continues to share its message of peace with the world. Then stroll to Spectacles Bridge and relax at the beloved Coffee Fujio, one of the cafés highlighted by The New York Times. Along the way, your guide will share local stories and insights beyond the guidebooks. Perfect for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot, this tour also makes an easy day trip from Fukuoka by Shinkansen (bullet train). Please note: Expect to walk approximately 4–5 miles (6.5–8 km), or about 10,000 steps. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. If Coffee Fujio is closed or full, a similar local café will be visited instead.
