Core Experience Highlights Kumamoto Castle – Stroll the castle grounds, admire the restored keep and "Warrior Return" stone walls, and stop by Sakuranobaba Johsaien to taste local specialties. Kumamon Square – Visit Kumamon's office for a chance to see the beloved mascot perform live, shop for exclusive goods, and enjoy Kumamoto's unique fun atmosphere. Volcano & Grassland – Gaze at Mount Aso's steaming Nakadake crater. Wander Kusasenri's vast grassland, where horses and cows graze amid seasonal scenery (fresh green in summer, silver grass in autumn, snow in winter).
