What to expect
The tasting takes place in a historic underground room carved into the rock, where our own wine collection lines the walls. Cool and welcoming even at the peak of summer, the space has a quiet, vintage charm you won't find in an ordinary tasting room. You'll try three young wines from small local producers — a sparkling welcome glass, a delicate rosé, and a crisp white — each paired with a generous board of regional cured meats, cheeses, fresh bread, and seasonal vegetables. It's an unhurried, genuinely local experience in the countryside behind Lake Garda. And you're perfectly placed to explore: the Scaliger Castle above Valeggio sul Mincio, the water gardens of Parco Giardino Sigurtà, and the riverside village of Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most beautiful in Italy, are all within easy reach.
