What to expect
Join Storytellers Eco Tours and cycle at a relaxed pace with your small group for four hours along the 'back road' - Ara Metua, lane ways and occasional gentle terrain bush tracks. You will experience the tranquil pace of local village life, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are plenty of stops along the way where your tour guide will tell you more about what you are seeing and experiencing. The 'explore' tour concludes with a picnic lunch at the beach, where you can have a swim to cool off. This is the more advanced of our three bicycle tours and better for those with some confidence cycling. You will ne picked up between 7.50 and 8.40am, tour is from approx. 9 to 1pm, followed by lunch and a swim before being dropped back to your accommodation.
