What to expect
Pochampally is a village from where first land gift was given by a local land lord to the Land Gift movement started by Acharya Vinoba Bhave. This is the village of Weavers experts in weaving Double Ikkat Technique saris. This Ikkat technique has got GI tag. If you have one day in Hyderabad city and if you want to Get Away from Hyderabad city to experience something different and off beat, I suggest this tour to you. We stroll through the village by walk from one place to other place, we visit the houses of the weavers and one or two local artisans. We visit one interpretation centre of weaving in the village.
