What to expect
We will take you to the hidden gems of Meteora that only locals know and the smooth light of the evening will offer many chances for incredible photos. Enjoy a comprehensive tour to all 6 Monasteries and have the chance to visit the interior of 1 of them. Your Tour Leader will be with you to provide all the information you need about the life of monks and you will learn the amazing history of the area. At the end of the tour, we will take you to the best viewpoint on the rocks to watch the sun setting behind the mountain range of Pindos or according to Greek mythology, you will see god Helios on his fiery chariot taking his horses to rest. Snap photos as the changing light paint the landscape in shifting hues of rose and gold before hopping back in the minibus for the return ride to your hotel.
