  • Vehicle reservations are not required anywhere in Glacier National Park in 2026. However, advance tickets are required to use the Logan Pass shuttle, and private-vehicle parking at Logan Pass is limited to three hours from July 1 through September 7, 2026.
  • Going-to-the-Sun Road opens and closes seasonally depending on snow, weather, and road conditions. Check its current status before beginning the tour.
  • Vehicle-size restrictions apply on Going-to-the-Sun Road. Large RVs, trailers, and oversized vehicles may not be permitted on sections between Avalanche Creek and Rising Sun.
