Travel to one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Live the history of the region, through its medieval street paths. Its urban center has been considered a Historic Artistic Site since 1082, as well as its majestic Collegiate Church declared National Monument. A village located in an extraordinary natural enclave thanks to the passages od the river Vero that after its passage form large clods an leaves us amazing views. On the way to Alquezar we will visit a magnificent DO Somontano winery "Bodegas Laus" and taste its precious wines. To finish our visit, we will eat in one of its best restaurants "Casa Pardina Restaurante" and taste its precious local products.

During this full-day journey I will take you to a traditional olive orchard to learn about olive oil production. I'll also take you to the historic village of Belchite. Join me on an exciting escape to the Zaragoza countryside! We'll tour the grounds, visiting the centenary olive trees, and indulge in a tasting of oil made of the local Empeltre olive. Next, we'll continue on our journey to the ancient village of Belchite, which today serves as a memorial for the Spanish Civil War. Some of my favorite movies were shot in this remarkable ghost town, including Guillermo del Toro's famous Pan's Labyrinth. I'll share with you my experiences in Zaragoza and suggest fun activities for the rest of your trip!

Join me on an exciting escape to the Zaragoza countryside! First, I will take you to one of my favorite traditional olive orchards where you will meet the producer and learn about the history of olive oil production in Spain. We'll tour the grounds, visiting the centenary olive trees, and indulge in a tasting of oil made of the local Empeltre olive. Second stop will be even more surprising. The Winery is among the oldest protected growing areas in Europe, the DO having been created in 1932 alongside other Spanish wine regions.The region is the acknowledged source of the Cariñena / Carignan grape. During this 4-hour culinary experience I'll take you on a tour of my favorite food market in Zaragoza and then teach you how to prepare some delicious Spanish dishes that we will enjoy together for lunch. What I'll include - Guided tour of Central Zaragoza food market - All market ingredients used in cooking class - Spanish cooking class - Spanish lunch with local wine from Aragon Come along as we explore the Central Zaragoza food market, meeting local vendors and shopping for fresh ingredients for our Spanish cooking class. After getting everything we need we will continue on to a nearby kitchen club, where we will get ready for our cooking extravaganza! I will teach you how to make some of my favorite dishes, all based on family recipes, and how to pair these with local Carignan wines from the Aragon region. At the end of the class we will sit back, relax and enjoy the dishes that we have created in good company with some good local music and good wine!
