Ocean Safari with us and experience the best of what the season has to offer. Whales and dolphins are our main stay during the season but are usually limited to June through August regularly. Icebergs can be seen usually between April and July when they are passing through. We are part of the UNESCO certified Discovery Geopark. The geology of the area is from the Ediacharan Period of the geological record and holds the fossil record of some of the first life on the planet. We will include this as part of the narration of the area and the wildlife that we see. Though wildlife is never guaranteed our guests can expect to see whales, dolphins, birds and waterfowl in season as well as icebergs, puffins, gannets, eagles and many other birds. Sunfish are a regular sighting in the falls and Leatherback Turtles and Sea Eagles have been seen.
