What to expect

An excursion to northwestern Bulgaria to discover the Belogradchik rock formations and the fortress built among them, whose origins date to the Roman Empire. The experience may add an optional easy downhill walk of about 45 minutes around the rocks, with air-conditioned transport from Sofia.
