What to expect

A full-day excursion from Pier Mauá covering Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, downtown Rio, the exterior of Maracanã and the Sambadrome, Lapa, Selarón Steps, the Cathedral, São Bento Monastery and Flamengo and Botafogo beaches. An air-conditioned vehicle and return to the terminal are included, with timing adapted to the ship.

  • This tour will operate under any weather
  • Pick-up and Drop-off only from the Cruise Terminal - please contact us to inform your ship’s name and estimated time of arrival at the Sea Port.
  • Our tour guide will be waiting for all passengers at the gate and the tour will depart approximately 1 hour after the disembarkation. We can anticipate the beginning of the tour if all participants arrive at the meeting point earlier than expected.
  • This tour may need to be adapted accordingly to the Ship arrival and departure
  • IMPORTANT: During Carnaval week this tour will not fully operate due to traffic issues during these days. Please, see our optional tour for that specific days: “Carnival Special: Corcovado en Sugar Loaf Shore Excursion Tour”
  • Approximately from August 2026 until May 2027, the Corcovado venue (the Christ the Redeemer statue) will be under renovation. The tour may take longer and accessibility may be affected.
