What to expect
Experience the thrill of catching your first wave or improving your surfing with Australia's favourite surf school in world-famous Byron Bay. As one of only a select few licensed surf schools permitted to operate on Main Beach, you'll learn at one of Australia's premier beginner surf locations. With a maximum of 6 participants per instructor, you'll receive personalised coaching from qualified instructors. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build confidence, our award-winning lessons are safe, supportive and fun. Byron's gentle waves make it the perfect place to learn. You'll develop essential surfing skills like paddling, standing up, wave selection and ocean awareness while enjoying Byron Bay's spectacular coastline. Your experience includes approximately 2 hours of coaching on the beach and in the water. Please allow around 3 hours for check-in, equipment fitting, your lesson and getting changed.
