What to expect
Strange and captivating, this village is a unique ensemble of buildings connected by cobblestone streets, passages, hidden corners and secret spaces. Inspired by diverse styles of medieval Europe, it blends them into an eclectic and unmistakable identity, born from demolitions and shaped by the creativity and dreams of a single visionary. Along a mystical path, visitors wander through the Twelve Little Houses of the Forest, transporting them into a fantastic, storybook world. As the experience unfolds, fountains, lakes, quebracho-wood bridges linking small islands, docks, a Dutch windmill, a colonial chapel, and even a locomotive with carriages appear. Highlights include the Railings Museum (Ferroteca), displaying wrought-iron railings, chandeliers, stained glass, antiques and art, as well as themed buildings such as the Stone House, Wood Museum, Palitos House and Slag House.
