Pellumbas Cave Tour and Petrela Castle from Tirana

Pëllumbas Cave opens in a limestone wall above the Erzen River south east of Tirana. The approach trail crosses Mediterranean scrub and reveals the canyon before reaching the dark entrance.
Petrela Castle rises on a hill about twelve kilometres from Tirana. Its compact silhouette dominates the Erzen Valley, olive groves and the old route linking the coast with Albania’s interior.
